It sure brings a smile

I sent my dad a Father's Day card, and surprise, surprise! It did not turn up! :( Talk about being hurt! I ached over the fact that it did not reach my dad! I chose the BEST card and when I need it to reach my dad, it did not... So I emailed and told my dad that I'm really sorry he did not receive his Father's Day card; and this is what he told me: (it sure brought tears to my eyes)

It's okay Chelle about the card. ts the thoughts that counts. If it doesn't appear at our doorstep I'm sure it will be at the "post office" in heaven waiting to be collected.

I'm sure God's seal and stamp is on the envelope! It's sure nice to think that God has gently picked it up and is now in the heavenly post office =]
Maybe next time I should address letters and cards as such:

To Mr/Mrs/Miss (...........)
PO Box: Heaven

Wouldn't it be nice to know that you have cards or letters waiting to be collected when you go to Heaven? :)

PS: I hope the card will be the first gift my dad receives; or it will still be fine if God decides to put it in his (my dad) heavenly mansion's post box (:
