Having a day at the park with friends is something really amazing! Being able to square dance at the park is even more amazing (and not to mention a whole lot of fun and I wouldn't mind square dancing every week!)
Last Sunday, a group of us gathered together (to celebrate Georgia's belated birthday) and had a little picnic at the park -- food, frisbee, square dancing -- perfect afternoon :) It was followed by a super duper potbless dinner, Dutch Blitz and story ;) It was a totally awesome day!

[Sorry, not pictures of us square dancing. We were having so much fun ;)]
A couple more updates -- my sister pointed out that my blog has been on a hiatus... It sure did.
GIG (Group Investing God), the Bible Study that I'm leading, has been AWESOME! Wuhoo! It totally did not turn out as I've expected it to be. Boy did I feel so discouraged on the first week but with prayer and encouragement, God totally sort of like interrupted GIG and changed my life, in particular, forever. I have to say that so far, there is only 2 of us who attends GIG. However, for the past 2 weeks, God had been leading different people (all people we don't know) to our table and having some really awesome conversation with them. Nothing "godly" or "spiritual", just every day conversations. But it always, always made us leave the place feeling so filled by God and being so humbled at the same time. God is totally at work and all He requires is obedience. It's something I've been learning since leading GIG. It's really amazing to see how God works. I am really thankful for His faithfulness.
I've learned a little more of what it means to really love others. Evangelism and loving others have been the key themes for the past couple of weeks. There's something God wants me to learn. ;)
I met a friend on Thursday and we had a little chat. I haven't seen her for more than a month now, so it was really nice to see her again. I saw that she had changed -- for the better. What she shared with me totally encouraged me. It's always so refreshing to listen to what others have to share about Jesus and His awesome works in their lives. :) It's life changing...
I've been on a CSI NY marathon. It's like suddenly, out of the blue, both my sister and I are morphing into CSI NY (as well as Vegas & Miami) "addicts" (lack of a better term, but totally describes us) We've been communicating through email and all we do is email about CSIs... I used to try and get her to watch it with me, but she always refuses, and now, she's like watching it every single week. :) We gotta watch it together when I'm back eh? ;p
I've also been a bookworm -- yet again. I've been making trips to the library for books. Currently reading Vinyl Cafe Unplugged. [Kelly, you should read it. It's by Stuart McLean. *wink, wink* Maybe not your taste, but it's totally fun. Plus, it's Canadian. Hehe...] I'll be on "Anne of Green Gables" marathon soon.
