And so...

And so the time when what my parents told me (which I did not really believe and even ignored) comes true.
Oh yipee do... ;p I have the flu. Oh yes, the flu. It's not extreme flu which I usually get back home (some of you who have seen me in that state would know how terrible I look). Nonetheless, it's the flu. And I'm FRUSTRATED and STRESSED out because of my runny nose; and the fact that I have 2 papers to sit for tomorrow; and that I have YET to complete studying. *I feel like crying... really* [Maybe I should]

Ah... the things I've taken for granted back home:

When I'm sick, I can always ask for help from my sister or brother - "Sam/Tim, can you please grab me a glass of water? Thanks" [Here: Drags self up from the bed; and grab a glass of water]

Meals are taken care of by my beloved grandmother - "Mama, I'm sick. Can you please cook chicken soup for me? Thanks" [Here: Drags self all the way downstairs, rummaged through the cupboards, finds a can of soup; opens it, and pops it into the microwave. How unhealthy, I know]

My grandfather would drive me to college and back; and he gives me FIRST-CLASS service. Honestly. Ask my friend Kelly. - "Papa, I end classes at 4pm today. Can you please pick me up? Thanks. Or; "Papa, I'm not feeling well; and I need to go back home. Can you please pick me up now? Thanks." [Here: Sick, no sick, bundles self up; and take a 15 minute walk to the bus stop; waits for the bus; hops on and gets to campus; and the same when I return from campus]

So yes, now I TRULY UNDERSTAND what my parents had to go through when they were in Canada last time... And when they say that is it the WORST getting sick and being in a foreign place alone; owh yes, I AGREE wholeheartedly with them. ;)

Right now, all I want is my parents, siblings, and grandparents....

And to top everything up, I'm stuck in my room! Yipee.... (not)
I've been telling some of my friends about my life; and how it revolves around my room; and so they told me to get out of my room once in a while and take a walk OUTSIDE; well, looks like now I am confined to my room, specifically my bed. Haha...

Well, anyway, I'm not letting this flu bug me... I'll be alive and kicking soon... ;)
