Pictures, Orientation

Okay... some updates... Pictures first alrite... =] Can you see the bunnies? hehe... yup yup.. they hop freely around my campus. =]
There's one resting... =]
Here's a little one... cute one too.. Hehe...
Here's 2 of them...
I tried to take these 2 bunnies, but each time I came nearer, they started to hop away... Lolz... =p
This one started to turn and hop away too when I came nearer... not really photogenic eh? hehe...

Hmmm... my First cook dinner =] it's spaghetti white sauce, mom's recipe... i did not use spaghetti... it still worked out well though... not like mum's cooking though... =( Miss my mum's cooking!
A close-up... i just put ham in it... =p oh, and cheese too.. yummy... hehe ^^
Hmmm.. might not seem appealing to some, but to me, it is cuz it reminds me of home... =) I had this 2 days ago because I was missing home a lot! Suffering from culture shock that is.. hehe... oh, homesickness is part of culture shock... =)
Yummy... hehe

29 august: my orientation day! I woke up at 6am... excited ya know... then i remembered that there's no grandma to prepare my breakfast for me, so down the stairs i went to the kitchen to prepare my cereals with milk and strawberries. =) then around 7am, i started to walk down the road, down the hill, and made my way to the bus stop, which is about 15-20 minutes walk from my place. i then took the bus to uni. i was seriously seriously early, so i took a short walk at the university... and oh, because it's so cool in the morning, the bunnies were up and already nibbling on the grass! =) they're all so cute, unfortunately i did not bring any carrots to offer, so when i approach them to snap pictures, they started to hop away! Lolz... hehe... anyway, as for orientation, it was cool. i felt kinda out of place because 95% of the students there were Canadians! Hehe... And most of them have cliques... so yeah, I kinda felt alienated... only the facilitators were really friendly and tried to make me feel comfortable... however, i did have fun though... i was really anticipating to the front line tour around the campus, but i really, really did not expect what i had to go through. some of the buildings are under construction, so during the tour, we had to go through many, many routes, short-cuts, long-cuts, etc.! haha... i walked from 10.30 am all the way til 4pm, and that does not count me walking home! I've never walk so much in a day! Haha... anyway, by the time i got home, my muscles were tensed and i had headache, so once home, i changed and straight landed on bed... i did not even bother to have dinner! Haha... =p i was a good experience though... and that front line tour came in handy today...

30 august: i woke up at 6am again, but feeling much better. no more headache, so thank God for that. today, i had scones and milk for breakfast and at around 7.30am, i started to walk to the bus stop. by around slightly after 8am, i reached uni, and i attended the international students orientation. i had more fun for this orientation because well, the students here were slightly more friendly. on my way to the orientation, a guy from UK named Tom greeted me, and we became instant friends. then, not long later, we met a girl named Sandi from Aussie. so the three of us became friends. later, i met other students from around the world. it's really cool, and most of them were really friendly. =) so that's why i felt really comfortable. =) this orientation's way more fun cuz we had scavenger hunt! well, my front tour from yesterday's orientation came in handy here as our scavenger hunt involves us going round the campus! So yeah, i was like the navigator for my group! =) it was really fun.

So yes, that's a little update from me... oh, and I've done so much walking these past 3 days! Haha.. more to come... that's for sure... because I have to walk 15-20 minutes to the bus stop in the morning, and after classes... so in a day, I should have about 30 minutes walk each day, not taking into account the walking I have to do in campus. =] Good exercise eh? hehe... I've never been so "fit"!!!! Haha... =p Lolz... Anyway, I'll post some pictures of my campus soon... some parts of it are under construction, so I'll post the new buildings in Spring 08... =]
