Owh yes... the backpacks for the Russian kids are all done. Did some "power shopping" with Alison and Georgia today. =) Georgia and I (No, I mean it was more of Georgia's idea) decided to write a little card/note and attach it with the backpack. ;) It was so much fun just writing that little card. ;)
For the past few nights, I could not really sleep (I don't know why. I just felt so hyped up). Anyway, I was doing my quiet time; and I was reflecting back. I smiled to myself as I laid on my bed. I was reflecting on the many blessings in my life - particularly friends. To me, friends play a really big role in my life. They're like my family. If I could, I would include them into my family. (Well, actually, they're in my family - the family of God! ;] ) Anyway, I was reflecting on the first encounters; and how we became friends... =) It was really nice to reflect back; and give thanks to God for each one of them. Many times I have the fear of losing my friends. I really don't know why. Well, not exactly losing them, but like being separated physically. I know I cannot change things; and that there's always a time for everything, but it does get hard sometimes, thinking that my friends will graduated and move on, or that my friend has to move to another place. Nonetheless, memories of each of my friends will remain; and you can count on me that I'll never forget you - Yes, you who's reading this now. ;)
