Anywho, here’s a summary to my day. I had about 4 hours of sleep; woke up at 6am to try to catch the 9am ferry to Vancouver. Unfortunately, the winds were strong! I couldn’t even walk out! Let alone trying to walk with 4 bags! And, I was supposed to travel with a friend of mine. Guess what? My friend overslept! Haha.. Hilarious; but I won’t go into details. ;)
Anywho, Thank God I managed to get to the ferry terminal in one piece. =D There was a delay, so by the time I reached Vancouver, it was lunch time. My grandaunt and granduncle came to pick me up; and we went for lunch. I had Malaysian food! Oh me gosh! It has been a long while since I had Malaysian food! I actually, in one sitting, finished a huge bowl of laksa! No kidding. ;) [All the weight I lost in Victoria, well, gained in a single meal!] Haha… ;p
After lunch, we headed off to Metrotown to shop! Owh yes, boy did I shop! ;) Okay, okay, I did not “splash” my dad’s money. I bought 2 turtle neck tops and I got an early Christmas present from my grandaunt! I’m so excited!!! She got me a wool coat which I’ve been looking and wanting for so long!!! Yes! ;) Sweet! Anywho, guess what? You’ll never ever believe this! Guess who I met while shopping????? Margaret! Yes, Margaret! I was walking “aimlessly” and I heard someone called my name; I turned and ta-da! Margaret was standing there! I was speechless. Haha… It was so so so nice to see her again! ;) Boy, good times. That short encounter brightened my whole day. Really… wow! ;)
After Metrotown, we went to shop at another shopping mall. See, I was on a shopping spree (except that it did not involve money. *phew*) We grabbed a few groceries, and then headed home as my grandaunt had to prepare dinner. Right now, I just had my dinner and it’s 10pm. =) Haha… I ate so much today, I think by the time I return to Victoria, I would have gained weight! Let’s hope I don’t. Haha…
Owh… and I saw snow today! It snowed just before I arrived. Sweet!;) Haha… Well, there were more ice slushes than real snow… but I managed to snap a picture or two of snow! ;) Check it out:
So yes, I’m super tired right now; at the same time so full that I don’t think I’ll be sleeping any time soon. Gotta let the food digest first. Tomorrow will be another exciting day. I’ll be attending my grandaunt’s church; and then out shopping again we’ll go! =D Looks like I’m going to shop until I drop before I leave to Vernon. ;)
