2007 in a glance

- Started 4^th and 5^th semesters in ADP and did really well. *Thank God*

- Made new friends in ADP *smiles*

- Made it through ENGL102 class with Edine and Indri *proud moment*

- Got accepted into UVic in February *jumps for joy*

- Turned 19 in March *amazed*

- Travelled overseas alone for the FIRST time *excitement*

- Experienced culture shocked and misses home badly *wipes tears*

- Experienced love from friends in Victoria *grateful*

- Made many new friends in Victoria *grateful and blessed*

- Grew closer and stronger in God *Praise God*

- First Christmas away from home *fun but misses home*

- Experienced snow for the very FIRST time *laughs*

- Made my way to Vernon for a few days *filled with awe and gratitude*

- Ice-skated and skied for the very FIRST time *exciting and funny*

- Had a stronger relationship with my parents

Looking back, without a doubt, 2007 was a year I’d like to call as “Blessed Beyond Measure”. I cannot thank God enough for this year. It has been a great and awesome year. The turning point in this year was in August when I came to Victoria. God totally used a foreign land to accomplish His work in my life. How He brought amazing and wonderful friends (whom I would call sisters-in-Christ) who made a difference in my life; how He used a new environment to draw me closer to Him; and how He used a little kid to teach me valuable lessons. God works in wonders! I learned to see each day as a day where God will work miracles.

I pray that the New Year will be an even GREATER year filled with God’s wonderful miracles. I am excited to see what God will do in the coming year.
