I haven't been updating my blog for quite some time now, and I apologize for that. Anyway, I'm having an hour break before my next class, so I'm taking this opportunity to update my blog because if I were to wait until tonight to do it, I would not do it as I think I'm going back to sleep! Haha... I have classes today until 6pm. =(
So yes, for the past few days, nothing interesting has happened. All I did was sleep, eat, bathe, attend class.... That's my life for now. I have assignments, but I'm really lazy to do. Moving on, I'm getting into the flow of uni life. So, that's good. I made a few friends and that really helps because at least I know who to turn to in my classes if I were in need of help. Also, they kinda help me to adjust more quickly in uni. =]
I applied for Co-op program. I have to write a resume and a page of letter application for it. Seriously, there's nothing much to write in my resume! It looks like a really sad piece of resume! =p Well, I'm really hoping to get into Co-op as this will provide a really strong basis for my future career.
Apart from that, I joined a few clubs... I joined because I have to pay a freaking $110 (I think) for student society fees. So, since my dad has to fork out $110 per semester, I'll put that $$$ into good use by joining clubs, and if they do have ANYTHING FREE, (which by the way is NOT free, because we paid for it in the school fees) I'll join! Haha.... =p What clubs did I join, you may ask...
1. IVCF - inter-varsity Christian fellowship
2. IFG - international friendship group
3. Psychos - Psychology Society
4. Volunteer Victoria
I'm really looking forward to Volunteer Victoria because it'll help me later in life especially IF I do get into Co-op, and when I write a PROPER Resume to apply for a job! =]
Hmmm... apart from that, there's nothing else I did... I'll update more during the weekend, that is, if I have the time because I just realized that I have a TEST next week! =(
Btw, I realized that the students here eat a lot, a lot, a lot of sandwiches, salads, and drinks coffee. Maybe it's their "culture" =p Anyway, I'm being "pulled" into the culture of eating sandwiches because I've indeed been eating alot of sandwiches! =p Anyway, bread (all kinds of bread) are like cheap here, and so are the cheeses, veges, and cold cuts! =p hehe... I've been eating so much of those stuff that right now, I'm craving for RICE!!! When Robin's parents were here, they went to Chinatown and bought roaster pork rice and I Fell in love with it because it has been a long time since I last ate rice! ;) Robin and I are going to Chinatown this Sunday so that we can get RICE!!!! Hehe... and other ingredients which we MISS!!! =]
